I read a story about a man who hated Christmas I'll have to post it. It reminded me of what the holiday should be about.

Day three

I watched its a wonderful life while scrapbooking. Good movie but man I think I woke up on the wrong side of the bed I am so cranky. Christmas spirit is at a zero today

Day 2 of finding Christmas spirit

Well we went out to eat. At Applebee's of course. We love that place!! Ate and had a good time. Came home and cleaned and put up the Christmas tree while listening to Christmas music. It was amazing!! I think this year I will be a sell out like the grinch. And learn to love Christmas. Last year... No joke we hammered two stockings to the wall. That was our decor.

Day 2

It is date night so I'm going out to eat with my lover and them we are going to put up the tree and make a gingerbread house. While listening to Christmas music. I wish more rock stars would make Christmas albums. Oh wait!!! Twisted sister made one. Guess what we will be listening to. Hahahah

Day 1 of finding the Christmas spirit

I actually put my pandora station on a Christmas station. I listened to Christmas music all day. An for those who know how much I love Christmas that was quite an accomplishment. I typically cringe at the sound of Christmas chimes, bells, anything christmasy.

Tommorrow I start

So I have had issues with getting into the christmas spirit these past few years. Tomorrow I am changing it. Everyday in December I am going to do one thing to bring the holiday spirit. It will be a christmas craft, or a service to someone in need, something to get me the spirit. I have been a grinch when I need not to be. I have a life I should not be grinchy about. I have more then a lot of people have and I need to find the spirit this year. I WILL find the spirit this year and I will share my progress and what I have done. Tomorrow I think I will make a wreath or some sort of christmas decor. I wasn't going to even try this year but at work the radio dj was asking callers how to get in the spirit. A guy called in saying to volunteer or adopt a family. Then he suggested adopting a soldier. And he started crying how much he appreciated a stranger doing that for his son when they couldn't afford to ship anything to him while serving in another country. I almost cried. Day one begins tomorrow. May all of you find the spirit and hold on to it. Christmas is about giving, donating, sharing, loving, hold on to that. It is what makes us humans. Lets build bridges this season, not burn them.

Well I finished my project I need to find an album for it then I'll send it off and post pictures later.

On a brighter note my mother in law introduced me to a new blog that is freaking hilarious! Blogess.com.

This week is the opening of breaking dawn movie and yes I'm one of those crazy ladies that go to the midnight showing. I have no idea as to why I do. It's late I'm tired and my hate for ppl is amplified when they cheer at the opening credits. Which reminds me I once did a midnight showing for lord of the rings ( no idea why I'm not a fan and the little creep with the ring reminds me of my smelly high school biology teacher that I still have nightmares about) anyway half way through a battle scene cuts out and a guy three ppl down from me stands and yells and drops to his knees. Ppl are screaming. I remember thinking dear lord please do not let this be how I die. Dying at a midnight showing of lord of the rings in a freak geek riot accident is really bad for my reputation. Suffocating between the breasts of some fat guy bum rushing the film room is not ideal.

The husband is starting a chocolate company

Well it was productive and the utes won wahooooo!! And I went to a friends house that's on a farm and had a good time. What a good day! I am so very blessed.

Update

Pinching your pennies has a gypsy, cricut combo on sale for 89 bucks. Considering the fact the gypsy alone is 100 buck now, and the cricut is about 80. Good deal!! 
Well scrapbook wise things are going pretty well. I am getting my surprise scrapbook done for somebody and I have to get that done, and start another one for somebody else. Unfortunately I cannot post pics of it due to the fact they might see it on this blog. But I have had to redo a couple pages. I feel sometimes they aren't up to par. 
I had my first anniversary last week it was amazing. The only downer of the day was I didn't get to do scrap saturday but I still had fun hanging with my hubby.
I found Hobby Lobby had cricut cartridges on clearance so I got the cute dinosaur tracks cartridge. And I ordered life is a beach. Both carts are adorable. I will have to post layouts of things I do with both of them. Well it is game night.  Peace out.

Cricut expression 2

I absolutely love the cricut machines. I would totally buy all of them and every cartridge if I could afford to. They are releasing the cricut expression 2 today I believe... It's a snazzy machine. I personally love my imagine. It prints, it cuts, you can see your entire project before it cuts. Scrap Saturday

Today was a slow scrap day. Zero creativity. But I got a really cute two page layout done and my mother in law got a fantastic page as well. Just one of those scrap days :)

Layouts

Well I'm still new at scrapbooking. I am hoping to get better. My mother in law is like Da Vinci when it comes to scrapping. So I've learned and continue to learn a lot from her. Here are some of my first real layouts. My brother, nephew, husband and I all live together. I am super close the my nephew and love scrapping him. He has such the little personality. I'm a proud aunt that is for sure. I can't wait to continue learning about this hobby I absolutely love and enjoy!!!!!
